Award of Rabai Project upheld

On 20th December 2006 the award of the 80-90MW Rabai project to the consortium of Aldwych International Limited (Aldwych) and Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) was challenged by a losing bidder, Simba Energy Limited (Simba). The Public Procurement Complaints, Review and Appeals Board heard the complaint from Simba on 18th January 2007. In its ruling, issued on 22nd January 2007, The Public procurement Complaints, Review and Appeals Board dismissed the appeal by Simba and confirmed the award of the project to the consortium of Aldwych and BWSC.
