Aldwych attends signing of Zam-En/CEC transaction
LUSAKA, February 22, 2006 - Zambian Energy Corporation (Zam-En), a consortium of Zambian and international investors in which Aldwych will take a minority stake, signed a sale and purchase agreement for the acquisition of 77% of the shares in Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) http://www.copperbeltenergy.com/. The acquisition requires the approval of the Government of Zambia, which holds a special share in CEC. Subject to all necessary consents being received, the transaction is expected to close in early May
